Medical Molding
Like all our customers, those in the field of medicine require precision manufacturing. Often their application also requires that their devices be free from contamination during and after the production process. We have developed procedures and equipment to satisfy these needs. The vascular closure devices that we manufacture are molded in a special work-cell and then placed in packaging that we have designed, in order to protect them from contamination or damage.
We work with medical grade molding compounds. This was a requirement when we designed a device that could permanently resided inside a cow's stomach. The device was made from material that would not breakdown or cause adverse effects to the animal.
