We can meet an extensive range of material integration requirements thanks to our two divisions—Sunstone S3 (formerly Solid State Stamping) and Sunstone MIE (originally Molding International and Engineering).
Sunstone S3 specializes in precision progressive metal stamping and bandoliering. Parts are formed on a carrier strip known as a bandolier, making reel to reel manufacturing possible. Sunstone S3 has earned recognition from Metal Forming Magazine for its high stamping speeds coupled with high part quality.
Sunstone MIE operates a highly automated injection molding plant where precision plastic parts are produced. Using robotic work cells to reduce human error, Sunstone MIE specializes in high-quality insert molding.
With this vertical integration of precision progressive stamping and plastic insert molding, SCG is capable of deploying a variety of processes to provide custom manufacturing solutions.
