As a precision insert molder, SCG is often called upon to perform particular steps in the construction of certain medical devices. Two examples are shown in the photo. The metal needles are produced and sent to us by another manufacturer, after which we mold plastic around them. The tips of these needles are usually quite intricate and require exact placement in relation to the plastic in order to work properly. Thanks to our well designed quality assurance and quality control programs, SCG can reliably mass produce these high precision medical devices.
