J. Richard Haigh - Board Member
Mr. Haigh has over 25 years of experience in investment banking, corporate management and venture capital. He currently provides financial advisory and consulting services to select clients, acting as Principal of Mayfair Associates, LLC. Mr. Haigh holds a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and an MA in Law from Oxford University.
Mr. Haigh has a proven record as President and CEO of many companies. As President and CEO of Rent-A-Wreck of America, the oldest and largest used car rental company in America, he restructured the entire company. In each of the four years that Mr. Haigh was President and CEO of Rent-A-Wreck, the company won first place for its industry in "Entrepreneur 500, Entrepreneur Magazine". A writer himself, Mr. Haigh has contributed to a number of periodicals including the magazine, "The Deal", where he wrote an article entitled "What Private Equity Firms Need to Know before Investing in a Franchisor".
Currently a member of the World Presidents' Organization, Mr. Haigh is co-founder of its Santa Monica Bay chapter. A native of Huddersfield, England, he appreciates the lifestyle and climate of Southern California. He has two children in college and so finds time to indulge his lifelong passion for playing soccer.
