About Us
Sunstone Components Group was originally established in 1981 as Solid State Stamping (S3). In April 2008, after a couple decades of dynamic growth, Solid State Stamping acquired Molding International and Engineering (MIE), an insert molder based in Temecula, California. At that time, Solid State Stamping changed its name to Sunstone Components Group, and MIE along with S3 began operating side by side. SCG now possesses broad manufacturing capabilities thanks to its two divisions—Sunstone MIE and Sunstone S3.

The Sunstone S3 division of SCG maintains a strong position as a precision metal stamper. Thanks to proprietary technology and processes, S3's products have been in high demand since the 1980's. By means of a subsidiary named Sunstone Plating, SCG maintains control over the electroplating process as well. |
